HR Legal Associate

The Position

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a service provider working exclusively for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, is currently looking for a HR Legal Associate. The job is based in Copenhagen and will support our global HR activities.

As a HR Legal Associate, you will have a variety of cross-functional and cross-hierarchy internal stakeholders assignments within employment law and HR. You will provide employment law and legal counselling to the organization globally, and you will be responsible for the preparation of employment agreements, addenda, and consulting contracts, while guiding the hiring managers in relation to terms, compensation, and benefits. Furthermore, you will be involved in ad hoc assignments across the organization, i.e., with HR, Legal, and Payroll, setting high demands for your great project management and people skills.

Further responsibilities consist of:

  • Becoming a trusted go-to person in relation to legal HR matters
  • General counselling regarding Danish employment and labour law
  • Prepare and manage employment related agreements
  • Prepare remuneration letters following the annual employee performance and development reviews
  • Maintain employee master data in cooperation with our Payroll Manager
  • Make sure that templates are maintained and updated
  • Take responsibility in the development and optimization of the process of employing new colleagues
  • Responsible for handling employee leave, sickness absence interviews, etc.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of work experience from a larger international company. It is an advantage, but not a requirement, that the candidate holds a degree, such as MSc in Law, Business Administration & Commercial Law.

  • A positive attitude and a desire to work in a growing international organization
  • Capable of working independently and in teams, being proactive and aware of one’s own responsibilities with a great sense of time management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Danish and English and the ability to communicate issues and solutions in a simple and understandable manner
  • Experienced user of MS Office package with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Visma HR is an advantage
