Planner for PtX Projects for Copenhagen office

The Position

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a service provider working exclusively for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, is currently looking for a Planner for PtX Projects.

The Planner will act as a key integrator for HØST PtX Esbjerg and will over time also play a central role within CIP’s PtX portfolio. To be successful in this role you must be capable of monitoring multiple interconnected workstreams and identify all main drivers in the programme.  The role will entail assisting management, prioritising tasks and securing overall project progress. You will need to be a self-starter and, with limited guidance, be able to take responsibility of the programme for HØST.   • Direct reporting line to the Project Director and the EPC Director

General Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Keep the progress on the projects under his/her control up to date, promote the exchange of information and ensure that the objectives are met
  • Ensure that the project has an up-to-date integrated schedule
  • Analysis and Tracking and Reporting
  • Provide support to Project CEO, EPC director, Board/Steerco ensuring all relevant information required for project planning and execution are well maintained and provided, to ensure efficient and effective decision making
  • Establish project key milestone dates as part of the base case and ensure all key stakeholders are informed. Ensure key milestone dates are efficiently tracked and early warnings set up to warn against deviation
  • Facilitate planning workshop, support the package Managers to capture the interfaces between packages and record agreed dates into the programme
  • Provide various programme analysis including scenario analysis, milestone tracking, critical path & float analysis and mitigation plan analysis as required by the project
  • Report project and package progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis of as established with project’s project management plan
  • Facilitate and ensure the transportation & installation sequences are defined, optimized, aligned and agreed by each package
  • Other work as needed in support of successful project delivery
  • The place of work will be in Copenhagen. Some travel is to be expected – particularly to Esbjerg

The Candidate

  • Attention to detail with the ability to efficiently manage complex technical projects
  • Master’s degree in construction management, engineering or other relevant field
  • 3-5+ years’ experience working with large construction projects
  • Experience from similar role with same level of responsibility and tasks
  • Masters Primavera P6
  • PMI certification or equivalent project management training
